Protecting the Amazon Rainforest is as easy as eating more Brazil nuts. Of course most of us know new that, right? “Brazil nuts are the most profitable non-timber forest product in the southwestern Amazon…”. If Brazil nuts aren’t your thing, try planting some trees. I have read varying statistics but, it would seem that the average American emits somewhere between 20 – 26 tons of carbon dioxide annually.
